• Distillery mold and barbeque

    10. April 2018 in den USA ⋅ ☁️ 43 °F

Dale loves his bourbon so we used our trip to Lexington Kentucky to visit distilleries, see beautiful horse country and eat barbecue. Distillery mold is a byproduct of bourbon aging (really a fungus) resulting in a black coating on the buildings. The pictures here are of old distilleries that are being restored back into new distilleries.

And the barbecue was Red State Barbeque. So good.
