Staying at a Harvest Host location in Wallkill, New York, we camped in the middle of a farm. First greeted by a camel and a "rafter" of 4 big Tom Turkeys, the farm has horses, miniature horses, donkeys, llamas (and a cute baby llama), peacocks, chickens and I'm sure I missed a few. We camped right next to the mini-horses paddock, so they came up to the fence to be petted and hang out. Relaxing and delightful.Read more
