    Always love to visit Savannah even if it is only one night. Had dinner at Hueys on the waterfront, with great views of people, container ships and of course water.

  • Oyokunji African Village

    We didn’t actually visit it but this is a West African Oyo/Yoruba village in the middle of Beaufort County South Carolina that was founded in the 1970s. Somewhere between 50 and 200 people live there.

  • Key Largo

    Started with breakfast at Mrs. Macs, a beach, funky place featuring license plates and mimosas. Went to John Pennekamp State Park for a glass bottom boat ride and will be camping there tonight. It’s a State Park that is mostly underwater so viewing the reef and fishes was very nice. Wading at the beach and taking a nice nap in the afternoon breeze was great.Read more

    Southernmost point in the continental United States! A laid back very cool atmosphere where we spent the day driving over key after key looking at the blue green water and beautiful boats. Our campground site is across from the Naval Air station with a beautiful water view and one of Key West’s many iguana. Went for Cuban food tonight with our friend Karl.Read more

  • Touring Truman and good eats

    Pepes for brunch then Visited the Truman presidential vacation home in Key West. Harry Truman was an accidental President that stepped in after Franklin Roosevelt died near the end of World War II and did some remarkable things including in the area of Civil Rights. He was also the President that dropped the Atom Bomb on Japan. Interesting tour and the neighborhood has lovely homes. And of course Dale found a rum distillery.Read more

    Ernest Hemingway’s life in Key West. Lovely home with 18 inch walls to withstand hurricanes shown by a very entertaining tour guide. The house has 59 cats, each named after a famous person and many have 6 toes. His colorful life and great writing have inspired millions of readers.Read more

    Art Deco architecture, lots of beautiful people of all ages, this is a high energy place to visit. Gorgeous beach and the building was the home of Gianni Versace before he was killed.

    An afternoon cruise around Miami Beach and islands, looking at the lovely and rich homes of Jennifer Lopez, david Beckham, Alicia Keys and the $250 Million yacht of Jerry Jones, who is owner of the Dallas Cowboys. The tower is Miami’s newest ultra luxury Hightower, designed by notable designer Zaha Hadid.Read more
