Guadalupe River State Park

This was about a 45-minute drive from our resort. Huge beautiful park. Includes a lovely well-treed campground with pristine facilities.

We did the Prairie, Painted Bunting, Barred Owl, and Live Oaks Trail Loop. A long-winded name for a pretty trail. (The All Trails app came in handy, as usual).

Bit of an arid landscape. Small trees. Lots of rock. Great two-hour hike at a winter temperature of 18 degrees Celsius.Baca lagi
