Yosemite National Park

Drove from Central San Francisco to Yosemite NP via Oakland Bridge. We had free range driving at Yosemite but in the summer I was told there are severe restictions because you have to use a shuttle service to get around. All the superlative comments are worth it. The Bridal Veil Falls were particulalry impressive as the side winds moved the falls sideways. On our way out of the valley we stayed at the Cedar Lodge Hotel, El Portal. Have since found out there was a murder near the room where we stayed!Read more
