Bolonia to Valdevaqueros, 15 km - Hotel-Apart Dulce Nombre

We had an incredible walk along about 12 km of beach today, in the sunshine! There was a fair amount of wind, but once the air warmed up from the sun, it was comfortable. We came to a labyrinth-like forest after Bolonia where the umbrella pines were so dense it was like walking through tunnels with what appeared to be Roman ruins scattered in the shadows. Once on the beach we had some clambering over rocks to do and then some wading through the water. It was rather thrilling to be next to the Atlantic all day, knowing that we had walked across the provinces of Malaga and Cadiz to reach this point. Now we are in a close-to-the-beach hotel, the only people here, I think. The owner is opening the restaurant especially for us.Leer más
