Beast Of Bodin

Didn't get far this morning before I spotted a bakery, then I realised we were at Carclaze, which was mentioned in our Wild book. We did a quick tour of the 'Cornwall Alpes' before we headed on our way.

Couldn't drive past Bodmin without going to the Gaol. There was a great immersive tour of this haunted place, including a hanging where the floor dropped an inch when they opened the hatch!

The weather brightened just as we past a turning for Rough Tor ('routor') and a narrow Lane delivered us onto Bodmin Moor. The stones on the Tor were too tempting not to be climbed, despite the gusting wind! The spot was so nice we spent the night there with the most incredible view.Читать далее
