Exmoor

After a windy night (it felt like we were on a yacht!) it was a beautiful morning so we walked down the valley away from the sea. A track led us to Cloud Farm, the most amazingly beautiful NT campsite, in Lorna Doon country. We followed a gorgeous brook upstream and after an hour or so we were on top of Exmoor! A long loop over the moors delivered us back to the NT cake shop, and then we took the scenic route back to the van.

We then skipped along the coast to Minehead to meet up with Jo's parents again. We were in a lovely campsite (complete with views over Butlins!) but there wasn't a level pitch on the whole site! We walked down and had a lovely meal and then met up with Pete and Chris in the pub, before we cheated and got a cab back up the hill.もっと詳しく
