Return to Nairobi

Another driving day for today.
We departed Maasai Mara National Park and our beautiful accomodation pretty early in the morning and headed to Nairobi. It was a 7 hour car drive with multiple stops along the way at markets and souvenirs shops.
Driving out of the national park, we saw the last few animals for our holiday which was a very sentimental moment.
The traffic and the drive was horrendous. I was so happy to finally arrive at our hotel in Nairobi around 2pm.
Everyone was very overdue for some quiet down time, so we all headed to our bedrooms and had the afternoon to ourselves to refresh and dial down after a long drive.
Later in the evening, we all met up in the hotel bar and had some celebratory bev’s all together reflecting on the holiday we have all just shared.
A delightful evening followed by a late dinner.
Into bed we go for the last sleep of our first Africa trip! A big one to remember!Baca lagi
