    A fantastic start to our honeymoon!
    Grabbed our luggage and headed into town for a night at the Darling Harbour Sofitel!
    Ordered some room service to go along side our fantastic view!

    Dubai

    Up early for a 6am flight to Dubai, pretty decent flight, no crying babies, quality sleep, spare seat on our row!
    We arrived at our hotel in Dubai around midday, explored the streets and had an early dinner before heading in for the night for our next flight at 2am.Leer más

    Arriving at the Maldives!

    Finally made it! An early flight this morning, followed by a sea plane trip to our island! And wow!, here we are in the Maldives!!
    We had our first meal, fish and ribs for lunch before exploring the island’s beauty.
    Settled into our beautiful villa for the afternoon and had the night in.    Leer más

    Relax Mode!

    Our first day in relax mode! We had a slow wake up then went to the huge buffet breakfast! Wow, so many different foods to try!
    We enjoyed a few hours of snorkelling and saw hundreds of fish!
    Next we headed to our first couples massage.
    We finished the night watching the shark and stingray feeding before having another early night in.    Leer más

    Inflatable fun

    Bit more of an active day, up for breakfast at 7am followed by some bike riding fun!
    Pre lunch we headed down to the sport’s complex and hit up the inflatable world!
    Fortunately, we were the only ones on it at the time so we could have a little fun playing tag.
    We headed in to avoid the midday heat and had some pizza for lunch!
    Our afternoon concluded with another massage and a flower bath before getting dressed up for a nice dinner date!    Leer más

    Fun Fitness!

    Woke up for an early morning breakfast at 7am!
    Bit of an active day to burn some of the delicious meals off we have been eating!
    First we went kayaking, swimming and played some volleyball! I totally beat Amos in volleyball!
    Then we went and hit up the fitness centre starting with some foosball, table tennis the tried out the gym equipment! (I was mostly watching Amos on this part ;).
    After lunch we had an afternoon nap before going out to our dinner reservation at Samsara Asian restaurant.
    Our night ended with a few cocktails whilst listening to the island local DJ!    Leer más

    New world

    Up and out this morning for a 10am snorkeling tour! Absolutely blown away! There’s a whole new world just under the surface that you’d never guess was there.
    We have never seen so many colours, shapes and sizes of fish! So many schools with 100+ fish in them! Will never forget the ultimate snorkelling experience!
    Seriously beating myself up about forgetting my GoPro!

    Towards the end of our snorkelling tour, the weather had a turn of events —> beautiful, bright and peaceful when we had our heads under water, then coming up it was like a shipwreck scene from a movie, dark black clouds above us, waves so huge you couldn’t clear your snorkel or see land, water so dark you felt a shark was bound to be near…. Which in this case.. there actually was! Amongst the thousands of fish, the tour guide spotted out a reef shark to Amos.

    Unfortunately the weather didn’t clear up, we spent the rest of the day inside our beautiful villa.    Leer más

    Sydney stretch

    A horrible flight home, crying babies, uncomfortable seats, below average food but hey we arrived back in Sydney safely and that’s all that matters.
    Tonight we are staying in the Four Seasons hotel with a spectacular view.
    Jet lag kicking in with hungry belly’s at 3am and unable to sleep but definitely worth it to be awake with that window view to appreciate.    Leer más

    Today we explored the streets and markets in Berry! What a beautiful little town! The streets were buzzing, markets were filled with yummy foods, definitely will be back!
