We were fortunate that Bill’s brother, Mike, was in town and free on our DC day so we got to have lunch with him at his office - the Pentagon.
Fun to see him in his digs and get to see the Vietnam War corridor and Mike’s favorite - a corridor with enlargements of the sections of a huge WWII tapestry from England. And lunch in the Navy Dining Room.
Hard to believe I (Dawn) used to live just up the street and take the metro from the Pentagon downtown to work every day. Feels like a million years ago - it has changed so much!Read more
