Mont Saint Michel - 5/29

Great visit to Mont Saint Michel. It started with drizzle and ended with sunshine. Alice, our Norman guide, gave an excellent 2 hour tour, answering our off-beat questions deftly and with humor. We had reservations at Le Logis Saint Catherine, which was outstanding.

On the way to our hotel we saw sand sailors (Pic 16). The hotel is gorgeous. The three star, fixed menu, at the hotel's restaurant, was far to precious and more about the cool and trendy chef, and his obscure but trendy organic wines, than the food served.
