Busy last day. On to the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino (MChAP) [Pics 1 -9] [Pic 9 is a mummy!]

Lunch with Filipe now dressed as a cyclist. Fun visit and lively conversation as we shared Merchadas.

Then onto the Museo des Bellas Artes. Beautiful building with interesting statues in the primary space and sundry art in the galleries. [Pic 18-21]

Finally an epic climb up the uneven pavers of Santiago Lucia Hill for a spectacular view. [Pic 22-26, note the funicular that I rode yesterday]

Lastly, note the old and new architecture [Pic 11-13]. The city has both grown a lot but old lingers.

A wine bar dinner at Bocanariz and the onto join Amit at our airport hotel. [Pic 27-31] It was a real treat to experience four wines from Chile; the country I’d justly proud of its viniculture.Read more
