Calama

Today, I had time to visit the geysers (third biggest field after Yosemite and a place in Russia). On the road by 5:30 am and with a two hour drive, we approached the field. Some geysers build up over time [Pic 5 ] . Mud geysers exist. [Pic 7] . And surface copper colors some. A nice breakfast and onto a water body with all three flamingos (Andean, Chilean and James). Two Vicuña wandered by. A duck. Finally [Pics 17, 18] some nearby houses and a church show the typical housing in the area.Read more
