    Jährlich wird am 24 Juni das Inti Raymi Fest gefeiert. Auf diesem Fest, auch Sonnenfest genannt, haben die Inkas den Gott der Sonne Wiracocha verehrt und den Jahresbeginn der Sonnenzeit gefeiert. Dieses Fest wird bis heute in der Inka-Hauptstadt Cuzco veranstaltet.
