Peacock Island

Our Meghalaya trip is starting from Guwahati. The Cochin-Guwahati, Bangalore-Guwahati & Trivandrum-Guwahati trains used to pass the Bhubaneswar station on the erstwhile South Eastern Railway (now East Coast Railway). As a child, while seeing one of these trains stationed at Bhubaneswar, I had tried to imagine about the time it would take to reach Guwahati from Bhubaneswar. For this trip I had landed directly at Guwahati airport from Mumbai and was to join my four other friends at the Guwahati Railway station. Our trip started from the Guwahati railway station.Baca lagi
