We walked from Hongu to Yunomine via a mountain pass to our new accommodation at J Hoppers with its own private onsens

Rejoin the Nakahechi route, visited the Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine then a hike back to the Onsen.

Travel from Osaka to Kii-Tanabe via train, 2hr Train ride. Arrived in Kii-Tanabe and then travelled Yunomine-Hongu.
