Perlora

We leave Madrid at 4.30pm for Perlora by train. A 3 hour trip in deepening gloom past small towns and pastures 🤔. Arrived at our hotel at 10pm and that was it. Perlora is a quiet little village on the north coast of Spain on the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful coastline with views to Candas, the nearest town. We liked the look of the “plate of the day” lunch at a nearby cafe. 12 € seemed reasonable. And what a meal! Huge bowl of stew with white beans, bacon, sausage and black pudding. Then fish and chips, then baked apple for dessert. 🍮Les mer
