After reading the Los Angeles Times feature article about tide pools in Southern California we opened our tide app and found the perfect moment to go: low tide, afternoon, and a Saturday! For the Leo Carrillo State Beach you park conveniently for 3 bucks an hour and just walk under the PCH and there you are.
