    Nash Campground

    We didnt get one of our favorite campsites, but we did get one at a higher elevation (just under 10,000 feet) at Nash Campground. This campground was closed for a long time due to dead trees posing a danger from wind. In 2024, they did a lot of work and reopened the campground. We have a really nice spot, but not much shade. Its only in the low 70's up here though.

    We set up camp and then went for lunch and to get ice. A neighbor's screen house blew away while we were pulling out. Glad I have mine tied down tightly.

    Still lots of wildflowers up here. Tomorrow we'll go on a hike. I saw a hummingbird a minute ago so will put up my feeder, too.    Read more
