The beautiful Art Deco town of Napier. With the town completely destroyed by an earthquake in 1931, it was rebuilt in the art deco style, with much thoiugh put in to future earthqauke safety. It is an immaculately well maintained town, working for world herititage status. Lovely just to browse around the beautiful buildings and walk by the sea. The old prison was chilling, and too spooky for me to visit.I saw aw my first Kiwi, although in captivity, they are still a rare sight as they are nocturnal.From here the flight home to Christchurch after an awesome trip.Read more
