    Milford Sound

    A boat trip through the awe inspiring Milford Sounds in the Fjordland National park. A place with a wild and untameable beauty, the sheer size of the cliffs rising up from the sea was incredible. Along the cliffs were huge gouges made by the glaciers that formed them millions of years ago, the area filled me with humility and respect for the forces of nature which have shaped the earth over eons, a timescale within which humans are just a blink of the eye.Read more

    Lake Te Anua

    A Beautiful and peaceful time at Lake Te Anua. A very relaxed location, the weather was very calm and still so it was great opportunity to try paddleboarding. The glow worm caves were nothing short of extraordinary, I had never seen anything quite like them. Thousands of tiny glow worms twinkling away in the complete darkness of the cave.Read more

    Queenstown

    Queenstown - amazing as always - a night time gondala ride followed by stargazing, in an area with minimal light pollution the view of the night sky was astounding. The view of the lake from the apartment was breathtaking, and following a trip on the SS Earnslaw we headed off to our next destination, lake Te Anau.Read more

    Lake Tekapo

    Beautiful views to Mount Cook from lake Tekapo and some extra large pine cones for sale. The monument is a tribute to the sheepdogs in NZ, without whom the early settlers would never have been able to manage their stock and survive.Read more
