Easy drive down to Porthcothan - arrived about 2.30 pm. Compact but well appointed shepherd's hut near the beach. Quick visit to the local shop then in for our first swim.

Drive to Padstow then a ferry across to Rock for lunch at Paul Ainsworth's The Mariners. Superb meal with first class service courtesy of Dr Bateman.
