Bacalar

We headed to Bacalar, a 4 hour drive from Chichen Itza, staying at a lovely resort on Bacalar Lagoon. Our lodge was on the banks of the lagoon with crystal clear turquoise waters. This stop provided us with some much needed down time before leaving Mexico for Belize a few days later. We did venture into the local town which had a very laid back vibe (and a great park for the children)! Otherwise we lazed in the hammocks, swam in the pool and kayaked on the lagoon. Czytaj więcej
