✔️ Wake up at 3:45am
✔️ Left home at 5:00am
✔️ Bus to the airport on time at 5:17am
✔️ Checked my luggage at DUS airport (took 5min)
❌ Not a single priority lane open in the airport 😭
❌ Already 45min wait before the security checks 😭 ...and still counting...
❌ Flight AF218 to BOM will take off at 1:20pm vs. 11:45am (1h35 delay already....)
✔️ Sounds as if I will get my connection in Paris CDG 😊
✔️ Breakfast in the Hugo Junker Lounge after sehr anstrengend Warteschlange...
✔️ Landed in Paris 15min earlier than expected
✔️ Transfer from 2G to 2F terminal - 20min with shuttle
✔️ Passed immigration with flying colors 🎉
✔️ Transfer from 2F to 2M terminal - 20min with shuttle (definitely would not have made it if flight to BOM hasn't been delayed...)
✔️ Secured a light lunch in the lounge
✔️ Got confirmation my checked luggage is already on the plane to BOM
❌ New delay announced, AF218 will now take off at 1:45pm, seems like the goal pole is moving as I'm trying to get closer...sounds as if I'm heading for a second short night...
✔️ Boarded the plane at 1:50pm
✔️ 2:35pm, taking off! See you soooon!
✔️ Landed in Bombay at 2:36am
✔️ Got out of the airport at 4:00amLes mer
