We Followed The Drinking Gourd

We woke up early so Brian could make his Tee Time. It was nice and cool and the main street wasn't busy so overall it was good. We followed alongside the Niagra River. You could feel the power of the river and it offered some stunning views.

We rode up through Niagra -On The Lake toward and then headed west. We stopped at Il Gelato di Carlotta and treated ourselves to some delicious cookies.

People in Canada are so kind and eager to be helpful.

In St. Catherine's we were stopped to find our road and the bus driver exited his bus to help us navigate. He also told us how to find the church that Harriet Tubman attended. We took a turn off our route so we could go see it.

Back on our route we headednon with our goal being Hamilton, Ontario Canada. Fortunately there was a little business of an IT Professional and a masseuse because it started raining. They let us bring our bikes inside and wait it out.Read more
