Madrid, via Barcelona!

Having looked at the weather forecast for Northern Europe for the following 3 weeks we decided to abandon our original itinerary (again!), and head west to Spain and Portugal for the sunshine and warmth.
So, after scrambling around for flights, we finally arrived in Barcelona.
Our next stop was to be Valencia, but rail issues forced another change of plan, and so we finally ended up in our favourite city....... Madrid! Breakdancers, a trip to Casa del Abuelo (of course!), and a lovely walk around Retiro Park.Read more
