This is the second (of two) National Parks dedicated to an American artist. We also went to the other. Anyone remember the other one? LOL. Moving on…Mr. Weir was one of the first impressionist.

Beautiful mansion with the original interior intact. The smallest of all the Vanderbilt Mansions in the US.
Olana Mansion and Thomas Cole NHP

The mansion tour continued on to Olana. Great looking house with a middle eastern influence. Then we moved on to another National Park for an American Painter.

This is the beach we stop at on the way to overnight camp every summer. I teach all of my students how to skip rocks on the Delaware here. Or at least I try to teach him how to skip rocks LOL. When I was there two months ago I saw a bald eagle eating a fish on the beach there. Have a great adventure!
