The building itself was a pure masterpiece. Former hotel and health spa. Has since been renovated and used as a wonderful museum. Very interesting collection.
Kennedy Space Center

We have been blowing and going through South Florida. We took a couple of days off to relax. Very small state park with a very interesting piece of machinery and history.
Desoto National Memorial

This was the landing spot for the Spanish explorer Desoto in 1539. Neat hiking trails on the water. Also, a couple of other random sights in Sarasota.

Geaux GurusLol. This was a weird one. No access to spring from the reserve. Must access from outside means (boat drop off to spring entrance). Other springs are on our list and these penguins will take the plunge!!

A very, very cool 72 degrees all year. It was crystal clear water that you could see bubbling from the sand river bed.

Neat spot on the cusp of the panhandle. Not as much wildlife as what we were hoping for. But, they were having a prescribed burn today.
Geaux GurusWe have made that same statement several times in the past few days!! We will most likely be investing in an inflatable once we loose some cargo weight during our Shreveport stop.
PodróżnikOur friend at the condo has a blow up paddle board and it works pretty well. It is lighter than a solid board but easier to travel with. I’d be curious to see how a blow up kayak looks and works!
Geaux GurusWe have researched. They have come a long way. They even have origami folding boats as well. The paddle boards require abs and coordination…which we lack. LOL.
The Forgotten Coast

Very secluded portion of the Florida Coast. Heavy winds made for some poor water conditions. However, we spotted our first bald eagle.
Georgia’s Little Grand Canyon

Providence Canyon State Park is a very unique land formation for this eastern region. We explored the entire rim and two of the gullies. Beautiful colors!
