The first A-bomb tests

Just East of us today is the site of the first A-bomb tests near the White Sands Missle Range. You can tour the site on two days a year. Needless to say, we missed it. Unfortunately, I deleted all my photos of the area as they were taken into the sun. Perhaps tomorrow on our way out so you can get an idea of the flat desolation of the area.
