Sacrificing for the sake of art

This route took us up through a corner of Yellowstone we had never seen. There were many gorgeous photo-ops, even with the dim lighting. There was one particularly difficult photo that just wouldn't be caught. Gordon even walked through the mile-high snow to get the best Wilson L Nicoll memorial point of view, keeping a wary eye out for bears, and almost tumbling into the rushing river.
