San Angelo KOA

Well, we survived our 6 hour journey from El Paso to San Angelo, TX. I had joked with Heather that I would take a blurry picture of nothing and post with with the caption of "this is what we saw in Eastern Texas". But I actually enjoyed the drive. Starting east of El Paso, there was lovely mesa covered lands, and then as we moved further east, the land became flatter and very expansive. Perhaps I am coming to appreciate Texas.

So we got to the KOA in San Angelo. It is very nice. But I suppose our standards might be loosening a bit. The first photo shows us under a mesquite tree, in an otherwise almost empty setting. The second photo shows what I don't see, the power lines, the other RVs, the total lack of grass. Oh well, all I can say is that with low standards we are very content.Weiterlesen
