National Naval Aviation Museum

Gordon and I enjoyed this wonderful museum quite a bit, and dad would have approved heartily as entrance was FREE. We were sad to have missed the Blue Angels twice-weekly practice as they are out of town for January and February, But there was a tremendous amount to see and Gordon was in Hardware Heaven. I am imagining that the 2nd photo shows what dad's working conditions on the planes were as a navigator in WWII. We also enjoyed being around the sailors, young and old, who were all around in both official and unofficial capacities. It was a very positive place, showing a proud tradition and honoring those who have served.Baca lagi
