The heavens opened up today with lightning and rain. One lightning strike happened with simultaneous thunder, very scary.

Karen AndersonSo your on the road again! That is a lot of rain and that thunder was must have sounded like it was right overhead. The campground looks like a relaxing and lovely place to spend a week.
Margaret NicholsUh oh! Hope the rain has cleared. What news of Gordon's birthday present? Have a move-in date yet? You will be pleased to stop the perambulations and settle down methinks. Enjoy the US again. love Margaret
ViaggiatoreWe chose the campground because it's nice, right in the Appalachians, and has a moderate temperature so we can reacclimate gradually. We quite enjoyed the thunderstorm, a nice bonus. More expected today.
