Thrilla in Manila

The headline was too good to waste. We had to break camp in the rain, but we’re promised by NOAA clearer skies ahead. Well, yes and no. Spotty. And just when we thought we were out of it for good, a purple menace formed in the south. As we approached our final destination of Manila, the clouds got bigger and more forbidding with lightening. Thrilling.
