Flying high 1

We wanted to visit parts of New Mexico west of Santa Fe, but could not find a route that pleased us. Heather then asked: is there a air tour? Why, yes there is! So this morning, Bruce Adams took us on a one hour flight in a Itty bitty Cessna 182 out west of Santa Fe in a large circle.

We saw canyons, gorges, ravines, mountains, ruins, rivers, dry creek beds, towns, mountains, trees, the 2nd largest caldera in America, and tent rocks. The flight was a bit bumpy, sort of like a carnival ride that lasted for an hour.

Bruce gave a running commentary of what we were seeing, and if we needed to see almost straight below, tilted the plane to the side... wheeee!
