Spending some time in Bangkok

We have arrived in Bangkok! We spent the morning taking the train into the heart of the downtown core. Walking to our hotel in 35-degree weather made for some extra laundry!
After resting, we walked to MBK (Bangkok’s main shopping center) where we had some dinner, which was spicy, in fact, all the food was spicy! Yum! After having a nice cold coffee, we watched a movie and enjoyed the AC.
We walked back to the hotel a different way and enjoyed looking at the street vendors. We didn’t get run over by any scooters or Tuk Tuk’s so we call that a win for the day!
What better way then to celebrate with some cold Chang beer and get ready for it all again tomorrow.Read more
