    May 12 in Germany ⋅ ⛅ 20 °C

The Mützingenta should not be missed, that's why we were in Mützingen today

The Mützingenta is an annual cultural festival in Mützingen. It was initially part of the Kulturelle Landpartie and has been an independent festival since 2010.

The “Festival of the Senses” usually takes place between Ascension Day and Pentecost on the site of the old brickworks (alte Ziegelei) in Mützingen. The building of the old brickworks was converted by the artist Rosi Schoppe and expanded into a kind of meeting place.

In addition to a permanent arts and crafts exhibition, a cultural program is offered every evening. The Mützingenta claims to be a political festival and there is information on the topics of nuclear policy, Gorleben and alternative electricity providers, as well as stands from the Lüchow-Dannenberg Environmental Protection Citizens' Initiative and the anti-nuclear network contrAtom.

The Mützingenta is also known for its rich culinary offerings. There are several camping options next to the festival site.
