My temporary home

Yesterday was a really exhausting day. Not only the quick walk to the ferry, but also picking up the rental car and the big shopping trip really drained me. I left home at a quater past 5 am and arrived 8 pm here - 15 hours - pretty long for a location within Europe.

Then driving for over an hour through the laurel forest with 1000 switchbacks, across the whole island and unloading the car in the dark didn't make it any better.

But now I've arrived and this trip was definitely worth it. Just look at that! This will be my home for the next two months and I'm looking forward to walking down the mountain every day and throwing myself into the waves.Read more
