Culture! Richard IIAugust 7, 2015 in the United Kingdom ⋅ ⛅ 24 °C

The theatre was built by Shakespeare's playing company in 1599, burned down in 1613, rebuilt in 1614 and demolished in 1644. Finally the original was faithfully reconstructed and opened in 1997. Also met up with Vel and wandered around a bit. Landmarks everywhere! Millennium Bridge, St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge (no pic). Tate Modern was too modern for me - I find it difficult to appreciate monochrome paintings.Read more
