• A Coruña Free Day 3

    June 16 in Spain ⋅ ☀️ 66 °F

We wandered around old town a bit this morning and then had lunch at Comarea Marina, a lovely restaurant on the harbour. We ordered the fideuá which came with mussels, clams, and razor clams but we forgot to take a picture. It was enough food for four people so we gave the leftovers to a lady who sells knick knacks on the street.

Then we took a long walk to the Estella Galicia museum. Estella Galicia is one of the most popular beers in Spain, especially in northern Spain. We learned about the ingredients and processing and watched the automated bottling process. Then we learned how to properly pour a glass from the tap. The tour was topped off with a sampling of five beers, plus the glass we poured, paired with local cheeses. It was alot of fun even though I'm not much of a beer-drinker. They have a pretty extensive product line, including three or four non-alcoholic beers.
