Last Training Hike in Florida

We got one last training hike in with packs today before our departure for Madrid. Always the last couple of days before a big trip are stressful and we tell ourselves we’ll sleep on the flight. Yeah, right?

International travel in and of itself is exciting but it has been surprising how scary taking on a 500-mile trek across Spain feels. Who does this kind of stuff? A Pilgrimage in the 21st Century? Apparently many!

We’ll make a few updates during the next week and begin the big trek on the Camino Frances a week from Monday.
