Santiago to San Mamede da Pena

Today we left for Finisterre. It was a bit bitter-sweet to leave Santiago. We both felt that we could have used another day of rest. But, we decided to have our packs shipped to the next Albergue. We walked with our Mexican friends Chabelo and Carmen and plan to continue on with them to Finisterre and beyond. The comunal meal at San Mamede was excellent for 10 Euros and the entertainment brought down the house. It’s interesting that we finished in Santiago earning our Compostela but our pilgrimage doesn’t yet feel complete. So we continue to walk as planned to the end of the world.Leia mais
