Our little piece of the river

We ended up camping just above the Silver Fork, it's late summer now, so the river is much calmer than Spring with the snow melts

Silver Fork is a tributary of the American River, which in turn is a tributary of the Sacramento River. Water here, if not drunk first from a reservoir, diverted to farms, or evaporated will reach the ocean (less than 50%) at the Golden Gate.Read more
