The bank vault

Close up of the remarkably beautiful safe inside the bank vault in Bodie. The bank burned down in 1932, but the vault remained intact.

The historic pictures are off the bank owner, JS Cain standing outside the bank, and then the vault, sometime after 1890 and before the fire.Read more
