Black Elk trail

Woke up this morning and the Black Hills were covered in snow.

We had 3 choices.

1. Drive south and escape the snow
2. Drive to Deadwood, find a restaurant and spend the day next to the fire
3. Put our big girl panties on and hike the 10km Black Elk trail to Black Hills highest point.

What a question and what a splendid hike 😁
