387km drive to the Folding Mountain gateway into Jasper.
Difficult hike but how make hikes have its own brewery 🍻

Started the morning with a brisk 6km walk to get the day going.

The quick and easy 6 km hike had the most spectacular views of the 5 lakes. The colors were mesmerizing. Quick coffe in Jasper and then drive down the Icefields Parkway.

Saw our first bears next to the road and then found the most delightful spot for a picnic lunch at a little lake.
Then a strenuous push for 7km up to Parker Ridge with a lovely view of theLæs mere

What a slog
8 hours, 28km (Roga 39km), 1144m elevation gain. Last 2km to the lake a scramble over rocks.... and then we had to go back.
We started late (1100) and had to push.
