The round trip took us 3 hours and the colors unbelievable, further enhanced by a storm moving in.

The crossing Day1

Day 1 of the crossing
We were suppose to do 800km.
Morning was cold but we could drive.
Had to call it the day by 1500 when a snow blizzard set in.
Took refuge in Rawlins
The crossing Day 2

Started this morning at 0700 but only did 50 miles in 90min. The aftermath of the snow storm which now created an ice sheet on the road.
Saw 10 accidents.... not great for your confidence
