  • Paxos Gaios

    8 Jun 2022, Greece ⋅ ⛅ 24 °C

AntiPaxos to Paxoi Gaios. Time to leave wonderful Roda to cross to Paxos for an early guaranteed anchorage on the town quay. Again, place is very busy and we managed to truly squeeze in between two yachts bumping them aside - literally to maje Soave. Unfortunately the yacht next to us moved and left a gap for many others to try and fill unsuccessfully. Time to visit our favorite butcher for a barbecue on Corfu, Early morning run to the arch before we head north of the island to Lakka. Unfortunately the strong winds dictate that the west side of the island is too wild for a visit to the blue cave.

  • Lakka

    9 Jun 2022, Greece ⋅ ☁️ 24 °C

Gaios to Lakka. A quick trip north to a magical bay with truly turquoise waters. Not a patch of seaweed and excellent anchorage in the entire bay. Strong winds dictate a change of anchorage in the bay when a place becomes available further in allowing lines ashore. Lakka is just perfect. Unfortunately no monastery run this time but a brief walk ashore to buy some Uzzo for the barbecue.

  • Corfu Kaliviotis

    10 Jun 2022, Greece ⋅ 🌧 22 °C

Lakka to Corfu Kaliviotis . A crazy sail in wild conditions with lightning and thunder and we dropped anchor on Corfu in an ideal bay with good holding of 5m 200m from shore. Very quickly the uzzo and champagne were finished and the party began. A great speech by Paul and a very special night. A quick dinghy to town Petriti for extra alcohol supplies.

  • Albania Saranda

    12 Jun 2022, Albania ⋅ ⛅ 26 °C

Corfu Old Town To Albania Saranda. 5 Hours later and we arrived to customs check in at Saranda. 61 Euro later and our VAT clocks reset and water topped up. Not spending the night on the quay we were allowed 30 minutes for our 3 Euro. Jelfa was a great agent facilitating the process. We dropped anchor just outside the harbor to go to town which was sadly run down and a disappointment compared to Durres. Overnight next to the Turks playing their music all night and the flashing lights of the big wheel. A sea point feeling to the town without the magestic mountains.

  • Luka Dubrovnik

    13 Jun 2022, Croatia ⋅ ☀️ 28 °C

Sarandë To Croatia Luka Dubrovnik Customs. A good welcome into Croatia. Anxious not tired and a decent hour to arrive. A trip filled with laughter, jumping fish for most of the way in open sea and swims. Engine unfortunately pretty much the entire trip with a head wind slowing us down. Bad swell in the beginning but that passed fortunately. Sailing to Croatia was quiet at this time of year.

  • Uvala Lapad

    15 Jun 2022, Croatia ⋅ ⛅ 28 °C

Luka Dubrovnik Customs to Uvala Lapad. After clearing in, 27 minutes later we were on our way to drop anchor. An easy anchorage in the dark and time to go to bed and not ask who is at the helm station. A wonderful place to stock up with supplies of food after a quick 🏃‍♂️ !

Kevin of course found a kitty cat 🐈‍⬛

  • Scedro Grebak

    16 Jun 2022, Croatia ⋅ ⛅ 27 °C

Uvala Lapad to Scedro Grebak. A night sail - our last for a while. A beautiful 5am anchor drop back on Scedro, the mostly deserted Island everyone forgets.

A good run to the abandoned monastery and unfortunately we did not get to see the beautiful kitty cat we have been visiting for two years. We are tired. It’s been a lot of traveling.

  • Milna bay

    18 Jun 2022, Croatia ⋅ ☀️ 26 °C

Scedro Grebak to Milna . What a crazy ride. Two days on Scedro and we have to keep on moving. Arriving in Milna after a max speed in wild conditions of 9, thanks to the wind warning we took advantage of. 30 knot winds required two reefs and a lot of excitement. Fortunately when we turned the corner to head into it, the wind had calmed. Milna sunsets are always magical and I love this first town we entered in 2020 to collect GypsyDjango 🙏

  • Uvala Stiniva

    19 Jun 2022, Croatia ⋅ ☀️ 27 °C

Bobovisca to Uvala Stiniva. An engine around the corner to a wonderful bay to continue cleaning and grab a run. A perfect find. The first day the bay had 16 boats which left late afternoon till there were three and the next day none. A good find.

  • Milna Bay

    21 Jun 2022, Croatia ⋅ ☀️ 27 °C

Solta Lestimerova to Milna Bay. A quick hop across islands to a very different Milna without the charter boats crowding the town. A nice snorkel to shore to go exploring the abandoned house in the corner and was rewarded with slicing my foot. Kevin brought breakfast croissant to the bay 🥰

  • Trogir Seget

    2 Julai 2022, Croatia ⋅ ☀️ 29 °C

Drvenik Mali Mala Rina to Trogir Seget. With wind too strong to go to our normal bay we anchored the first time outside of marina Boutic. A lot of anchor out in a wide bay. A pleasant enough anchorage and a wild dinghy trip to Trogir town to get supplies. With the return to GypsyDjango we eventually had to remove our clothes to prevent them from being drenched. A lot of fun screams from Kevin 😜
