Paris Day Three

The Palace of Versailles! We started with a guided tour of the Kings private apartments that are not open to the public and are even kept shut out from the sunlight, when people aren't in the rooms , to prevent fading. Each desk is worth well over a million euro as was the China. We also got to sit in the grand Versailles opera house.
We then used Rick Steves audio guide aa we walked through the public chambers and the hall of mirrors.
We ended by going over the grounds of the palaces which is also sprinkled with Marie Antoinettes Mini palacesLæs mere
